Had the pleasure of dropping and catching up with the man behind Aloe aloe nursery – Michael Dent and this aloe was flowering right at the front gate – what a stunner ‘Capricorn’ is growing to around 1.5m.
Winter is their time to shine, producing an abundance of flowers.
Pop into your local nursery and pick up a copy of Searles About the Garden to read my article on these stunning hybrid aloes

Love your blog/ website and Love your enthusiasm for all things garden and associated…..saw the link on Facebook

Thank you for your positive feedback, I will strive to keep it fresh, informative and fun for all who visit. 🙂
PS…your photographs are so very clear and sharp. Do you use any particular camera or photography style as I’m on the journey of buying a camera and then learning all about the camera and photography as I can see things and think that’s a great photo. I use my iPad at the moment for quick snaps.
Many thanks

I have a Canon EOS digital camera but I also use my iPhone 5 for those on the spot snapshots. Nothing too fancy and no real editing secrets I’m afraid just straight out point and shoot 🙂 Claire
